Every bookstore gets those books that just don’t seem to fit into any other section. A book on the history of bizarre scams? Well, maybe…ummm…True Crime, but not really. A book on weird shoelaces could go into Fashion, but it’s just…well, odd.
Hence, the Oddities section!
If you’ve never browsed our Oddities area, it’s well worth spending a few minutes investigating. Located near the main entrance, it takes up a ceiling-to-floor case and is appended by shelves on Death, Circus, Magic, Graffiti, and Tattoos. Below is just a small sampling of the wonderfully strange and otherwise-unclassifiable gems you’ll find buried in Oddities.
