How's your lockdown going? Hope it's not all anxiety and boredom for you...

At this point, we still can't tell you when we'll be reopening. However, we wanted to thank you again for all of your lovely e-mails and inquiries. Unfortunately we're not offering anything like shipping or curbside pickup at this time. One of the big reasons for that is our remodel - the entire front sales area is being moved to a more convenient location near our main (rear) entrance, and this has meant that all our equipment (cash registers, credit card machines, etc.) is packed away right now.

A little news on the staff: Bob is feeling better than ever after his surgery to remove a blood clot; Ricky is enjoying his new retirement, reading and gardening and puttering; Brett's been playing incredible live guitar music on Facebook; Richard's been directing audiobooks; Lisa has been writing and collecting vintage Los Angeles postcards; Kevin is still working a day job at UCLA; and Poul, Sean, and Eric are trying to stay sane at home. Zeus and Apollo are still at the store, where they get to spend their days dodging Dan's remodeling frenzy!

In the meantime, we miss all of you - our extended book family! - and look forward to seeing you again in a safer near future.
